My elbow is cantankerous
It does just what it wants
It might go left
It might go right
Or take a little jaunt.
It might decide to tango
Or do the cha cha too
Or maybe even dance a jig
No matter what I do.
Sometimes it runs like Lassie
Sometimes it sits like Spot
But all I know is when it moves
It hurts and awful lot.
But then I see the doctor
Get stickers and some juice
Put up my feet and watch TV
Then see what else to do.
I might go get an x-ray
Or maybe get a sling
But pretty soon it goes right back
And does it's normal thing.

My elbow
My elbow is cantankerous
It does just what it wants
It might go left
It might go right
Or take a little jaunt.
It might decide to tango

Or maybe even dance a jig
No matter what I do.
